60’s/70’s Pucci Kaleidoscopic Maxi Strappy Dress

The one and only Emilio Pucci at it again!! A beautiful mix of bright prink amongst neutral brown tones, so graphic and special. Soft, quintessential Pucci jersey knit fabric that cascades nicely down the body. Strappy sundress style with a large box pleat in the front and on the back, creating an overlap of fabric for fullness. Beautiful Upward V shaped waistband, so flattering. Very nice condition with a very faint discoloration in one spot, such a well made piece with hand finishings. 1966-67 based on similar styles at the MET. Kaleidoscopic is how Pucci referred to his work. Emilioform if you will haha

It looks like the straps were tailored specifically for the original owner with excess left over to change lengths if necessary.

Provenance: From the incredible estate collection owned by RoZ, a woman who traveled the world and collected designer clothing as her souvenirs. Most of her designer pieces were handmade for her by the designer, making them one of a kind or close to it.
